Description
The skid plate for Yamaha Tenere 700 has been designed with the use of the latest technologies and computer simulations, which allowed for the maintenance of streamlined shapes, low weight and maximum durability.
The skid plate for Yamaha Tenere 700 has been created using many layers of carbon and Kevlar, thanks to which it retains high stiffness, while being flexible and having high impact strength. The technological solution used in the construction of the engine cover was tested in the harsh conditions of the Dakar Rally by experienced competitors.
An additional element that will protect the motorcycle in the event of an impact are special mounts, which will deform without damaging the frame, acting as a crumple zone in passenger cars.
This plate also protects the front tanks and the fuel pump.
